DCNR 2026 Grant Round Now Open | Community Conservation Partnerships Program

2026DCNR Now Accepting Grant Applications

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) competitive grant round, offering support for projects that strengthen parks, trails, conservation efforts, and related community initiatives.

At LHR, we have seen the tangible impact of this funding firsthand: in 2025, LHR received $572,000 to advance key priorities including (1) a National Designation Feasibility Study and the Zindel Park Master Site Plan and Structural Plan, (2) Education and Outreach, (3) Marketing, and (4) a Mini Grant program—work that builds capacity, expands public benefit, and positions our region for long-term stewardship and heritage-driven revitalization. If you are considering applying and would like a starting point, contact LHR with your questions about the grant process, project fit, or next steps, and we will help point you toward the right resources and guidance to move forward.
