Apply Now: 2026-2027 Mini Grant Program Open for Submissions

The Lumber Heritage Region is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Mini Grant Program! This annual funding opportunity supports projects that celebrate, preserve, and promote the rich lumbering heritage of our region.

LHR Mini Grant awards cannot exceed $25,000 and typically average $5,000. Awards can cover up to 75% of total project costs (Awardees must match at least 25% of total grant award, which may be provided as cash and/or in-kind contributions).

Key Dates:

Funding for the 2026-2027 Mini Grant Program is made possible through the Pennsylvania Heritage Areas Program Fund, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation. All funded projects must comply with applicable statewide rules and regulations.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a reimbursement grant. Only expenses incurred after a signed contract is in place (following award notification) are eligible. Costs or in-kind contributions made before the contract is signed cannot be reimbursed.
