Lumber Heritage Region 25th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating 25 Years as a Pennsylvania Heritage Area

As we reflect on the 25th Anniversary since earing formal recognition as a Pennsylvania Heritage Area, the Lumber Heritage Region extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have helped shape this organization over the years and to those who will continue carrying its mission forward for generations to come.

The dinner held on May 6th was more than a celebration, but a chance to recognize the people, partnerships, communities, and stories that first built and then sustained the Lumber Heritage Region since its designation in 2001. From preserving the legacy of Pennsylvania’s forests and lumber communities to inspiring future stewardship through education, conservation, and heritage tourism, every accomplishment represented was made possible through the support of many hands and shared vision.

We thank our past and present leaders, board members, staff, volunteers, educators, partners, and supporters whose dedication laid the groundwork for the organization we know today. We also recognize our current supporters and collaborators who continue to help the Lumber Heritage Region grow, adapt, and thrive across our 15-county region.

Most importantly, we look toward the future with optimism and purpose. The work of preserving and sharing our lumber heritage is ongoing.

We offer special thanks to the sponsors, speakers, volunteers, vendors, award recipients, and guests for helping make this evening possible. (View Photo Album)
