Doe Mountain Sugar Shoppe is a veteran-owned maple syrup operation located on a 70-acre farm near Mansfield in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Established by Debra Giliardi, the farm completed its first maple season in 2023 and has quickly grown into a local favorite for pure Pennsylvania maple products. Surrounded by over 1,500 acres of natural reserves, the farm taps a variety of maple tree species and uses a reverse osmosis system to efficiently produce high-quality syrup.
The Sugar Shoppe offers a growing range of maple products, including classic maple syrup, bourbon barrel-aged syrup, maple cream candies, and maple sugar. Their syrups are small-batch and handcrafted, with options for limited seasonal releases and pre-orders. In addition to maple production, Doe Mountain is expanding its farm offerings to include free-range eggs, ducks, turkeys, and honey bees by 2025.
Active in local markets and community events, Doe Mountain Sugar Shoppe blends traditional sugaring with innovative, small-scale farming. It stands out not only for its high-quality products but also for its commitment to sustainability, rural revitalization, and veteran entrepreneurship in northern Pennsylvania.
