Yeany’s Maple Syrup, proudly made in Marienville, PA, is a standout example of small‑town artisanal excellence. Founded by David and Zenobia Yeany in 2004, the operation has grown into a 4,200‑tap sugarbush producing roughly 1,200–1,300 gallons of pure Pennsylvania maple syrup annually. The syrup is crafted using traditional wood‑fired evaporators, which imparts a rich, distinct flavor that locals rave about.
Yeany’s dedication to quality was nationally recognized in January 2024, when their Dark Robust variety claimed both first place and “Best in Show” at the 108th Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg—earning a perfect score for clarity, density, packaging, and outstanding flavor, prevailing in a tie-breaker based on taste. Beyond syrup, their full-service store at 113 Chestnut Street offers a wide array of value‑added products—maple kettle corn, cotton candy, sugar, candy, cream, mustard, jams, pickles—and even fresh seasonal produce, pumpkins, mums, and local apple cider. Open year‑round and family‑run, Yeany’s combines time-honored methods with warm hospitality—earning a loyal local following and glowing reviews praising their “great syrup, really good canned goods…you feel like family.”
