Wending Creek Farms, located in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania, is a diversified, family-run farm known for its high-quality maple syrup and seasonal agritourism experiences. Established in the early 1990s, the farm is owned and operated at 106 Steer Brook Road and offers a combination of agricultural products, including corn, hay, straw, sunflowers, and Christmas trees. One of its standout features is its modern maple syrup operation, which utilizes reverse osmosis technology to efficiently concentrate sap before boiling, resulting in rich, flavorful syrup.
During the late winter maple season, Wending Creek Farms opens its sugarhouse to the public for tours and tastings, particularly during events like Potter-Tioga Maple Weekend. Visitors can learn about the sugaring process firsthand, enjoy syrup samples, and purchase syrup along with other maple-based products. In addition to its sugaring efforts, the farm becomes a holiday destination each winter, offering Christmas trees, handmade wreaths, maple gift baskets, and more.
With its combination of tradition, innovation, and community engagement, Wending Creek Farms serves as both a working farm and a welcoming place for visitors to experience the seasonal rhythms of rural Pennsylvania.
