Stroup’s Pure Maple Syrup

About

Stroup’s Pure Maple Syrup is a family-run maple syrup operation located in McKean County, Pennsylvania, along the scenic Kinzua Bridge Scenic Byway near Kane and Mt. Jewett. Owned and operated by Ken and Carolyn Stroup, the farm has been producing high-quality maple syrup for over 30 years, officially launching their own full-scale production in 2014. Each sugaring season, they tap more than 700 maple trees on their wooded property and produce between 150 to 300 gallons of pure, locally made syrup using traditional boiling methods.

The Stroups handle the entire process themselves—from tapping and boiling to bottling and sales. Visitors can purchase syrup directly from the farm or find it at local markets such as Apple Castle in New Wilmington. With its roots in tradition and a scenic location near Kinzua Bridge State Park, Stroup’s Pure Maple Syrup offers a genuine taste of Pennsylvania’s maple heritage, crafted with care and generations of experience.
