Huck Family Maple

About

Huck Family Maple is a small but mighty maple syrup operation where family, tradition, and creativity come together to craft something truly special. Owned and operated by Rich and Dawn Huck, the business began in February 2018 as a passion project that quickly grew into a thriving venture known throughout the region. From their sugarhouse at 1303 Swing Gate Road, the Hucks tap their maple trees each spring, carefully collecting sap that is boiled down into rich, golden syrup using time-honored techniques. But what sets Huck Family Maple apart isn’t just their commitment to quality syrup—it’s the incredible variety and imagination they bring to the table.

In addition to traditional maple syrup, the Hucks have developed an impressive lineup of maple-infused products that include spiced nuts, brittles, BBQ sauces, dry rubs, salad dressings, marinades, and even zesty maple mustard. Their products reflect a bold and flavorful twist on maple, perfect for home cooks, grill enthusiasts, and sweet-toothed snackers alike. You can find their goods at a variety of local spots, including the Shoppes at Newberrytown, and at festivals and farmers’ markets all across Pennsylvania, where their friendly booth is often a favorite stop for visitors. Rich and Dawn love connecting with their customers, sharing recipes, samples, and stories that highlight the down-to-earth charm at the heart of their business.

More than just vendors, the Hucks are also passionate collaborators in their community. They’ve partnered with Jackazz Distilling in Carrolltown to produce a one-of-a-kind maple spirit that captures the essence of their craft in a whole new form. Whether it’s stocking shelves, appearing at fall festivals like Yardley Harvest Day, or simply greeting guests at the sugarhouse, the Huck family brings genuine hospitality and excitement to every interaction. Their maple journey is about more than just sweetness—it’s about building something lasting, creative, and rooted in family. At Huck Family Maple, every drop tells a story of hard work, imagination, and a love for the land and people of northern Pennsylvania.
