Creekside Maples

About

Creekside Maples is a family-run maple syrup operation located in Liberty Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, owned by Jim and Linda Kucharski. What began over 30 years ago as simply selling sap to other producers evolved into a full-scale syrup-making venture in 2014. Since then, the Kucharskis have modernized their production, transitioning from traditional buckets to a tubing system and incorporating a reverse osmosis machine to improve efficiency and syrup quality.

Today, Creekside Maples produces not only pure maple syrup but also a growing variety of maple-based products, including maple candies, maple mustard, and maple mayo. Their operation blends time-honored sugaring techniques with modern equipment, creating a product line rooted in tradition yet responsive to current tastes. Celebrated in the local community and highlighted by regional media, Creekside Maples is a shining example of how small Pennsylvania farms continue to innovate while staying true to their agricultural heritage.
