Knoxville Public Library & Historical Museum offers programs, resources, history, genealogy, and connections for fun & education in north-central Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Our Collection of local articles relates to the history of the town and area. We have many photos and materials relating to the Knoxville School and local businesses.
"We have for exhibit the historic model railroad layout "Rails to History" which depicts Knoxville during the 1950s, with two working HO-scale model train lines, the New York Central and the W.A.G., the short line that followed the B&O, as they appeared at that time." Perhaps it would be good to state that the model is available for view by appointment, please contact the Library before traveling to be sure there is a staff person available to show it.
Our Library is housed in a 1910 Queen Anne style former residence. A history museum, genealogical section and an extensive reference section emphasize the local area.
