Located in a charming 1910 Queen Anne-style building in Knoxville, Pennsylvania, the Knoxville Public Library & Historical Museum serves as a hub for education, local history, and community connections in north-central Tioga County. With an extensive collection of historical artifacts, genealogy resources, and modern library services, we are committed to providing fun and educational opportunities for all.

Historical Museum: Discover the rich history of Knoxville and the surrounding area through an extensive collection of artifacts, photos, and materials related to the Knoxville School, local businesses, and the town’s heritage.

Rails to History Model Railroad: View the historic HO-scale model railroad layout, "Rails to History," which depicts Knoxville during the 1950s with two working train lines: the New York Central and the W.A.G. (Wellsville, Addison & Galeton Railroad). Contact the library in advance to schedule an appointment to see this unique exhibit.

Genealogy Resources: Dive into our extensive genealogy section, ideal for tracing your family roots and exploring local ancestry.
