A home that started out as a dream in 1858 has once again fulfilled the dream of a Curwensville native. Shelly Matlack Ferlemann had been dreaming for more than twenty years of owning the property and restoring it to its former glory. The hope for the building was to be a place that people from Curwensville and from all around could come inside and enjoy the splendor of the house.

Irvin Manor is a special home that has so much history behind it and so much promise of wonderful memories ahead of it. It as the heartbreak of a love story that wasn't meant to be. It has the history of the famous Bucktails from the Civil War ear. It has the charm and ambiance of a bygone day.
