Founded in 2001 and opened to the public on September 25, 2005, the museum invites you to explore its two-story, 1,700-square-foot space filled with thousands of artifacts that tell the story of the region’s unique heritage.

At the E.O. Austin Home, you’ll delve into significant historical events and themes, including:

-The 1911 Austin Flood: Learn about the catastrophic dam failure and its impact on the community.
