Learn More About CLINTON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Clinton County Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of artifacts important to Clinton County history, with programs of education and experiences.

In 1921 a small group of concerned citizens, dedicated to preserving local history, founded the Clinton County Historical Society (CCHS). In the ensuing years, CCHS has grown tremendously with the continued goal of preserving the County’s treasures, sharing them with the public through free programs and special displays., community events, history camps, and programs for children.

The main offices are in the Heisey House Museum, 362 East Water Street. We offer research facilities and resources on people, places, and things in our County’s history. Reasonable fees apply.
The museum and grounds are available for rental for private meetings, parties, and events. Please call us for rates and availability
