FUNDING IS AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEE TRAINING

           

AgConnect can help offset the cost of training for eligible forest/wood products & ag-related employers/trainees with a reimbursement of up to 50% of the course cost.  Funding is provided through grants by the PA Department of Labor and Industry,

Incumbent Worker Training (IWT)
Reimbursement for training of incumbent workers is available to all companies in the counties of Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter.  Amount is determined by company size and ranges from 50% to 90%. Allowable costs include:  training materials and supplies including manuals, training tuition and registration, Instructor/Trainer wages, Materials, Certifications/Testing and off-site training costs.  Layoff aversion training is preferred.  Wage increase and / or possible promotion is required. Industry Partnership Internship Program
Internship reimbursements are available to employers in the Manufacturing, Building and Construction, and Healthcare and Social Assistance industries located in the North Central Pennsylvania counties of Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter. Eligible employers can receive up to 50% reimbursement of student wages, up to a maximum of $3,000.00. Manufacturing Training to Careers Internship Program
Internship reimbursements are available to employers in the Manufacturing industries located in the North Central Pennsylvania counties of Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter. Eligible employers can receive up to 50% reimbursement of student wages, up to a maximum of $3,000.00.
