The Lumber Heritage Region (LHR) proudly supports projects that celebrate and enhance our region’s rich history, vibrant culture, outdoor recreation, and conservation efforts. Our grant programs focus on projects where these themes intersect, fostering initiatives that make a lasting impact across our communities.
Funded through the Pennsylvania Heritage Areas Program Fund and administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, our mini-grants are designed to bring innovative ideas to life. Eligible applicants include non-profits, municipalities, COGs, Conservation Districts, educational institutions, and Housing and Redevelopment Authorities. All projects must be located within the LHR boundaries, which span 15 counties, including Warren, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Lycoming, and more.
