Digital Content & Heritage Data Intern
Lumber Heritage Region (LHR)

Location: Hybrid; travel throughout the Lumber Heritage Region required
Duration: Summer 2026 (June–August)
Schedule: Up to 200 hours total; schedule and duration are flexible based on project needs and intern availability
Compensation: Paid internship, $15/hour. Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel


Position Overview

The Lumber Heritage Region (LHR) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to support digital content and heritage data projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Pennsylvania’s rich lumber heritage.

The intern will play a key role in improving the accuracy, quality, and accessibility of information on LHR’s website. Projects will focus on updating partner listings, enhancing historical marker content, and supporting digital engagement efforts.

This internship is intended for students living within the Lumber Heritage Region, which includes the counties of Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Venango, and Warren.
