Timber Buyers, As of December 1, 2020, The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry requires all timber sale bids to be mailed to: MARKET STREET STATE OFFICE BUILDING SILVICULTURE SECTION DEPT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES 400 MARKET STREET, FLOOR 6 HARRISBURG, PA 17105-8552. Any previously advertised timber sale prospectus with the former Office of Chief Council address will still be received and opened by the Bureau of Forestry. For all timber sale prospectus containing the updated address, all bid envelopes will need to be addressed correctly to the Silviculture section. If a buyer continues to send bids for the updated sale prospectus to the incorrect address at the Office of Chief Council, a representative from the Silviculture Section will contact the buyer and request a change to the required Silviculture Section address. Prospective bidders can either request a bid envelop with the correct address by calling the District Office or can print the following on a standard envelope: New Address, Timber Sale Bid Number, Timber Sale Name and Bid Opening Date.
